Junior Developer Software Engineer

Job Description & Role:
o Design and build new requirements/features.
o Deployment for new features into the testing/production/staging environments.
o Ability to set estimates and commit to the proper schedule for the ongoing activities.
o Building APIs that are maintainable, easy to administer, and cost-effective.
o Implement requirements described in a technical plan, including WS-building, Java code, and module development.
o Work collaboratively with the project team to ensure tickets are completed successfully and participate in daily and weekly status meetings.
o Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability.
o Very good problem-solving skills.
o Work with the rest of the development team and the technical manager to improve our processes and implement new tools.
o Ability to work in a team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environments.

Skills:
o Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent.
o Strong understanding of Java/OOP/Core Java concept, spring framework, Hibernate.
o Strong background in JavaScript, JSON, XML including DOM, XPath, and Schemas.
o Knowledge of web services technologies, like SOAP and REST
o Knowledge of using Java IDEs like NetBeans and Eclipse.
o Solid understanding of Relational DB concepts.
